Overview
Becoming an airline pilot is a long, expensive and highly regulated journey — and most of the costly mistakes happen before a student ever sits in a cockpit. Choosing the wrong school, under-budgeting hours, or failing a Class 1 medical after paying a deposit are all avoidable.
Our Pilot Training pathway starts in Kathmandu with structured ground preparation: aviation English, the core theory subjects, aptitude and interview practice, and a realistic financial plan. When you are ready, we place you at a partner flight school abroad for PPL, CPL, Instrument and Multi-Engine training, and stay in contact with you throughout.
When you return, we guide you through converting your foreign licence with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and preparing for airline selection.
- Honest, itemised cost plan before you commit to anything
- Class 1 medical guidance at the very start, not at the end
- Ground school taught by working aviation professionals
- Shortlist of flight schools compared on cost, fleet and weather
- Licence conversion and airline-interview preparation on return

Frequently asked
How much does it cost to become a pilot?
It depends heavily on the country, the school and the aircraft fleet. We give you a full itemised estimate in counselling — including living costs, exam fees and a buffer for extra hours — so there are no surprises.
Can I do all of my flight training in Nepal?
Flight training capacity in Nepal is limited, so most students complete their flying abroad and convert the licence on return. We explain both routes and their trade-offs.
Do I need Physics and Mathematics?
Yes. Most licensing authorities and flight schools expect a science background in +2 or equivalent.
Details are indicative and may vary by intake and partner institution. We confirm durations, fees and requirements in writing before enrolment.
