Home / About
In aviation, the hangar is where aircraft are inspected, repaired and made ready to fly. That's what we do for people.
Our story
Nepal is a country where aviation is not a luxury — it is a lifeline. Aircraft and helicopters connect mountain communities, carry trekkers and climbers, deliver supplies and fly rescue missions in some of the most demanding terrain on earth.
Yet for young Nepalis, the route into an aviation career has often been unclear, expensive and full of misinformation. Students pay deposits to schools they haven't researched, discover medical or eligibility problems too late, or choose qualifications that aren't recognised where they want to work.
Aviation Hangar was founded in Kathmandu to change that. We combine hands-on training with honest, expert guidance — so that every student who walks through our doors understands the industry, chooses the right qualification and is properly prepared for it.
Mission
To open real, internationally recognised aviation careers to young people in Nepal through practical training and honest guidance.
Vision
A generation of Nepali pilots, engineers and aviation professionals working safely in Nepal and around the world.
Curiosity first. We teach the "why" behind every procedure, so knowledge sticks and transfers to the real world.
Aviation has no room for "good enough". We hold our students — and ourselves — to professional standards.
Everything we do points to one outcome: our students working in aviation, wherever their ambition takes them.
Safety culture is taught from day one: checklists, reporting, human factors and the courage to say "stop".
Our team
A small team with a big network — supported by visiting pilots, engineers and instructors who bring real operational experience into every session.
